This is the entry level certification course for divers wishing to utilize a closed-circuit rebreather (CCR) for air diving. The objective of the course is to train divers in the benefits, and proper procedures for diving a JJ-CCR and to develop basic CCR diving skills to a maximum depth of 30 metres, using air or nitrox as a diluent. No decompression diving is allowed on this course.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Course Prerequisites<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Minimum age 18<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Provide proof of 20 logged open water dives. If completing a unit crossover, provide <\/span>proof of 10 logged CCR dives in the last 12 months<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Provide proof as a TDI nitrox Diver or equivalent from agencies recognized by TDI<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Possible Configuration Options and Trim Adjustments<\/span>
    \u2013 Different equipment setups and how to optimize trim and comfort in the water.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

    Bailout Strategy and Gas Management at Various Depths<\/span>
    \u2013 Planning for emergencies, choosing bailout gases, and managing reserves.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

    Manually Operating the Rebreather and Responding to Possible Unit Failures<\/span>
    \u2013 Techniques for manual control and appropriate reactions to common malfunction scenarios.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n
