This is the second level certification course for divers wishing to utilize a closed-circuit rebreather (CCR) for air diving. The objective of the course is to train divers in the benefits, hazards and proper procedures for diving a CCR and to develop basic CCR diving skills to a maximum depth of 40 Metres using air or nitrox as diluent for formal decompression diving.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Course Prerequisites<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Minimum age 18<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Provide proof of 50 logged dives. If completing a unit crossover, at least 10 logged CCR
    dives in the last 12 months<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Provide proof of TDI Advanced nitrox Diver and Deco Procedures Diver or equivalent from agencies recognized by TDI<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Provide proof of at least 5 logged staged decompression dives to a minimum depth of 30 metres<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    1. Minimum age 18<\/span><\/li>\n
    2. TDI Air Diluent CCR Diver certified or equivalent<\/span><\/li>\n
    3. Minimum of 30 hours and 30 dives on the CCR unit<\/span><\/li>\n
    4. Six months CCR diving experience<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n

      \u2013 Different equipment setups, accessory options, and achieving stable, efficient trim.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

      Understanding Decompression Profiles and Choosing the Right Strategy<\/span>
      \u2013 How decompression works on CCR, gradient factors, and selecting safe dive plans.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

      Planning and Conducting Decompression Dives Within Safe Limits<\/span>
      \u2013 Practical dive planning, gas choices, bailout requirements, and conservative limits.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

      Bailout Strategy and Gas Management at Various Depths<\/span>
      \u2013 Emergency planning, calculating bailout needs, and managing gases effectively.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

      Manually Operating the Rebreather and Responding to Unit Failures<\/span>
